As part of its commitment to customer support, MaxiTRANS has opened a new branch in Dandenong, housing Hamelex White Victoria Sales, Engineering, Service and Parts; and MaxiTRANS Hallam Repair and Service Centre.
The new facility is located in Victoria’s southeastern transport hub, at 175 South Gippsland Highway Dandenong, close to Monash Freeway and Eastlink; and thereby providing easy access for units up to B-Double size.
“It will meet the growing demand from Hamelex White customers for enhanced sales support, repairs and service,” the company announced. “Hamelex White Engineering is also based at the new location, alongside the Hamelex White sales office; ensuring access to tailor made designs for bulk transport. The extensive stock range is an added bonus.”
Servicing and repairing advanced transport equipment is a specialised task, so the Dandenong facility houses two specialty repair and service operations, one for tippers and one for trailers and vans.
The relocated Hamelex White Service, Repair and Parts departments have grown in size, with the ability to service ten trailers under cover at the one time. “Customers can be assured of prompt first class assistance with all mechanical and hydraulic work,” Hamelex White General Manager Craig Wallace said.
MaxiTRANS Repair and Service operations, relocating from Hallam in mid-February, will now have the capacity to meet growing demand for their repair and service capabilities for all major trailer brands including Freighter, Maxi-CUBE and Peki. The speciality division can accommodate over 12 trailers under cover at one time, providing all levels of service from routine maintenance work to fibre-glassing, roll-over repairs and complete rebuilds of trailers and vans. An additional 3 bays will be dedicated for on-the-spot repairs and breakdowns.
All Hamelex White and MaxiTRANS Service and Repair personnel have the benefit of factory training and access to the latest technical information. “The engineering support provided by MaxiTRANS Manufacturing and Hamelex White engineers will ensure any damaged trailer, van or tipper is rebuilt accurately and correctly for optimum performance,” the company announced.
The on-site multi-functional spray booth and 2 paint preparation booths complete the full package offering for every transport operator. “Operators can rely on getting complete sales, service and repairs support for complete peace of mind at MaxiTRANS Dandenong.”
