The VTA has assembled a various prominent industry speakers to address delegates around the theme of Managing Increased Demand, covering the following topics:

  • Setting the Scene – The Growing Freight Task
  • The Cost of Doing Business
  • Industrial Relations – Balancing Employer & Employee Needs
  • The Law & Road Transport
  • Infrastructure for Future Freight Movements
  • Technology & Safety in Road Transport
  • The Future of Transport – People, Education & Training

“Demand for goods, building materials and the transport and resources is higher than ever thanks to population growth, massive infrastructure projects and growing access to consumer goods from new markets,” said VTA CEO, Peter Anderson.

“Such demand spikes create opportunities and threats for operators, and it is vital they are equipped to handle the associated business challenges.

“The conference provides a forum for delegates to hear from experts from government, regulators and industry about how to manage the challenges associated with increased demand,” he said.

The VTA is encouraging delegates to finalise registrations by 27 February (Thursday); members are eligible for $200 in savings for every full registration.

Visit the VTA website for pricing and other information, and to register online.
