The Victorian Transport Association (VTA) has secured a high profile Victorian Minister to attend State Conference 2020 and deliver a keynote opening address.
State Conference 2020 will be held 1-3 March at Silverwater Resort, Phillip Island.
The event coincides with a Parliamentary sitting week in Melbourne (and Canberra), which, according to the VTA, has made it challenging to secure ministers to address delegates.
The VTA said in a statement it is "especially thrilled and grateful that this minister has rearranged their schedule" to present at State Conference 2020.
The minister, whose portfolio is directly linked to the issues facing freight and logistics operators, joins an already strong line-up of industry stakeholders who will address delegates on the conference theme of 'Managing Increased Demand'.
The VTA is continuing to accept registrations for State Conference 2020 with members eligible for $200 in savings for every full registration. A range of packages are also available to suit every budget and schedule.

In related news, the VTA released a provisional program for State Conference 2020.
