Victoria-based transport company, Northline, has announced a new $21 million transport and logistics facility in Redbank, a suburb in Brisbane's south.
According to Northline, the new facility will increase productivity and provide better access to major transport links, and replaces the current Northline site near Brisbane Airport at Pinkenba.
The new facility is expected to provide more than 12,500 square metres of warehousing and freight operations space, including a 2,000 square metre all-weather loading and unloading breezeway, and will also house Northline’s Queensland state office.
The building will be located within the Redbank Motorway Estate, and has direct access to the Ipswich Motorway via the new Redbank Link Bridge.
It is expected to open for business by mid-September 2014.
