Sydney-based recycling metal specialist, Sell & Parker, has taken delivery of a new dual-axle semi-trailer ‘J-bin’, built by tipper expert Hamelex White.
Equipped with a specialised bin hooklift and capable of handling bins between 45 to 65 cubic metres on its high-tensile steel chassis, the J-bin is one of the most versatile units according to Sell & Parker.
“Hamelex White is well-known for producing quality tipper trailers, but the ability to meet our requirements for this application goes to show just how versatile they are as a trailer builder, and we have complete confidence knowing they’ll exceed expectations on the finished product,” said Phil Baxter, Transport Manager.
“The bins themselves can handle all sorts of material that’s thrown into to, but the J-bin adds to that versatility by being able to access any site as well as handling the varying size bins that we use.
“Weight is a huge part of our business as all of our vehicles are equipped with weighbridge indicators that can be viewed from the vehicle’s cab to ensure the accurate amount is kept.”
“Regardless of the bin size, our payload in our older models is 18-tonnes. However, with this new model we can achieve up to 20 tonnes of capacity, which makes a massive difference over the course of the day.”
