Crane and heavy machinery manufacturer, Liebherr-Australia, was first incorporated as a company in 1981 and shortly after this time a new head office complex was established in Adelaide, South Australia. Since then, the company has expanded across the country.
Today, Liebherr-Australia sells and supports a range of Liebherr products in Australia and New Zealand including mobile and crawler cranes, offshore cranes, tower cranes, deep foundation machines, earthmoving and mining equipment. The busines also has a distributor that sells and supports refrigeration and freezing appliances.
In addition to the sales and services offered, the Adelaide, Perth, Mackay and Mt Thorley sites are home to bucket manufacturing and bucket repair facilities. The company also operates a national distribution centre and a remanufacturing centre. Both are established to provide industry best practise standards of remanufactured components and parts for its customers’ fleets. Recently, the company added concrete pumps to its product portfolio which are used with foundation equipment.
Head of Customer Service for Liebherr-Australia’s Crawler Crane and Foundation Division, Dino Mosca, is responsible for aftersales of crawler cranes between 100-tonne to 300-tonne, deep foundation equipment, concrete technology and duty cycle cranes. He is also in charge of parts and customer service teams responsible for Australia and New Zealand.
“We are a Liebherr OEM and work in conjunction with our sales department which sells new machines in Australia and New Zealand,” he says. “Our main services include sales, spare parts, customer service carry out, maintenance and breakdown service for the products we support.”
To help get the job done to an impeccable standard, Dino has worked with The WDS Group for eight years in his role with Liebherr-Australia (and more than 15 years with his previous employer).
