Load handling specialist Palfinger has moved operations to the same facility as Gough Transport Solutions (GTS) in Noble Park.
According to Palfinger, the move will not change existing sales and distribution channels, but streamline the brand’s service offering. GTS will continue to market Palfinger’s tail lift range, while Palfinger Australia will continue to sell vehicle loading cranes and the remainder of the Palfinger product range directly.
“GTS will now take on all of our installation and service work,” said Jason Csincsi from Palfinger. “They were already installing cranes for us in the past and now they’ll be servicing and supporting our customers too.
“Given the synergy between the two companies, the move just made a lot of sense. Palfinger Australia and GTS are both Gough Group companies therefore it is a natural match progression to align the two in Melbourne and utilise the excellent workshop facilities,” he added.
The sale of Freightquip, who Palfinger had previously been aligned with for installation, service and spare parts, helped consolidate the move to Noble Park, which is already home to Gough’s national support centre, head office, distribution centre and sales support.
“The GTS workshop in Noble Park is a lot bigger and better equipped too. We’re really looking forward to using it as a base to continue moving forward, and it will also be more beneficial for the Palfinger brand and its customers in the long term,” said Csincsi.

The GTS workshop technicians have been provided with comprehensive factory training and we’ve ensured they’re all up to speed with our equipment. Palfinger Australia are committed to ensuring that our service network is provided with the latest up to date training available”
