Work will continue to deliver important safety upgrades on the Princes Highway between Conjola Creek and Lake Conjola Entrance Road, with the second stage of improvements underway.
The New South Wales Government is investing in an upgrade to the Golden Flats Lane intersection as part of the $60 million Princes Highway corridor safety and efficiency upgrades program.
Work will include installing a dedicated right turn lane for southbound vehicles from the highway into Golden Flats Lane, sealing the road surface and line marking improvements.
“These improvements aim to reduce the risk of head-on and rear-end crashes,” a Transport for NSW spokesperson said.
Work will commence on Thursday 30 April and will be carried out between 6am and 6pm between Tuesday to Thursday, and Fridays from 6am to 1pm for around one week.
This latest work is part of the Princes Highway corridor safety and efficiency upgrades program which is delivering a range of targeted upgrades at identified locations on the Princes Highway between Sussex Inlet and Moruya over the coming years.
