WA side-tipper specialist Roadwest Transport has unveiled a new, lightweight variant of the ‘Hardlite’ model, which was on display at the recent Brisbane Truck Show.
“We’ve always been a manufacturer who could combine strength, safety and longevity, but in this Hardlite model we wanted to show the market we could also reduce the tare weight without comprising on performance,” said Dave Marron, Roadwest Transport Dealer Manager.
“The Show was a great opportunity to let the Australian transport market know, yes we are WA-based, but we can cater to any client throughout the country.”
Built with the assistance of Roadwest’s Rockhampton dealership, Barnseys’ Truck and Trailer Sales, the new Hardlite model on show weighed in at 7.82 tonnes, boasting a capacity of 24m3. The fully-welded floating body design is based on SSAB’s Hardox H450 high strength steel and equipped with Hendrickson axles and suspensions.
