SAF-Holland doubles down on sales strategy

Equipment specialist, SAF-Holland, has welcomed an accomplished leader to its ranks.

SAF-Holland has named Stephen Vranesic as its new Sales Director.

“My immediate focus will be to work closely with our sales team as we strive to grow sales across the complete SAF Holland range of products” said Vranesic.

“Delivering the SAF-Holland value to manufacturers, the aftermarket and fleets across Australia will also be imperative in the execution of our strategy,” he said.

Vranesic brings more than two decades of professional road transport industry experience to the role from his time at Timken.

“As a young Sales Engineer, I was given a customer base that consisted of all the OEM axle suppliers for heavy truck and trailer.” he said.

“In 2003, I was appointed Manager – Automotive and Heavy Truck expanding this responsibility nationally inclusive of the aftermarket channels.”

Vranesic also spent 15 months in the US as part of his initial training which included application engineering.

“This proved to be invaluable when working with customers over the years,” he said.

Vranesic has previous experience serving as a management consultant with SAF-Holland in 2016. During this time, he learnt about the equipment specialist’s product portfolio and became familiar with the business, its markets and customers.

Vranesic reports to SAF-Holland Managing Director, Mario Colosimo.

“I believe we have an exciting and prosperous future ahead of us,” said Vranesic. “I am proud to be part of the team.”

Vranesic holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and aims to complete his MBA by early 2022.
