A pace-setting 2011 and continued growth in 2012 – fuelled by a strong economy and rising demand in WA and north Queensland – has prompted SAF-Holland to reinforce its nationwide sales team with a key promotion. Andrew McNabb has been appointed as National Sales Manager, effective immediately.
A well-regarded name in the industry, Andrew McNabb can draw on more than 30 years of hands-on experience in the commercial road sector. After two years with SAF-Holland, Andrew has not only been recognised for his efforts in leading SAF-Holland’s growth and expansion in the east, but also for enriching the company culture.
“Andrew has shown exceptional performance in his recent role and helped SAF-Holland reach that next level in customer service and product backing,” Australian Managing Director Nick Stavrakis said, emphasizing that Andrew’s appointment is the next logical step in a long-term plan to grow sales in the Australian marketplace.
“His personal attitude and work philosophy represent what SAF-Holland has always stood for; maximum accountability and professionalism on every level. I am convinced that his experience in the industry will add strength and depth to the existing executive team,” said Nick.
With responsibilities that cover all of Australia, Andrew will first focus on strengthening SAF-Holland’s presence in WA, which has attracted a flood of investment in the past five years. “We certainly want to tap that exciting opportunity and continue to support our local clientele,” he said. Andrew also indicated that additional personnel will come aboard to grow the local sales team and provide additional support.
“With on-going growth expected for the near future, it is vital that we take steps to bolster our sales team on every level. We’ve enjoyed a strong sales performance over the past year and retained an excellent customer satisfaction rating, but we want to keep on track to improve even more. That’s why we will keep investing in new talent to make sure our clientele will receive the best possible service.
“It has always been my first priority to establish that high degree of professionalism SAF-Holland has established on a global level right across Australia. One keystone to reach that goal is building a strong relationship with each and every client to make sure we truly understand them and their operations.”
