The recent merger in May this year of Scully RSV and Australian Trailer Rentals promises to have a significant impact on refrigerated supply chains Australia-wide.
The acquisition sees two locally owned and operated businesses combine to deliver a large scale refrigerated fleet from vans through to full 34 pallet B-double combinations that will operate under the Scully RSV brand according to a recently released media release.
Founders Damien Scully of Scully RSV and Peter Dinicol of Australian Trailer Rentals share over 50 years industry experience, elevating an offering built on quality, reliability, flexibility and customer service.
The acquisition brings together a significant current customer base of both food and beverage operators and logistics suppliers, and enables new customers access to a rapidly growing fleet of refrigerated vans through to B-double refrigerated trailers.
With servicing operations in each region supporting hire and sales, Scully RSV is well positioned for their next phase of expansion.
With the shared values of Quality – Reliability – Flexibility – Service, the acquisition is poised to strengthen many already longstanding relationships, in addition to developing new ones.
Scully RSV General Manager, Cameron Hogg noted the importance of shared values across the businesses.
“I am encouraged by the shared values of the organisation and the quality of people now part of our family. As we continue to put the needs of the customer at the forefront and build upon the exceptional teams behind both brands, we position ourselves even stronger in delivering what we have always stood for in our values,” he said.
Damien Scully’s dream in 1993, when he founded the company, was to offer the best advice, service, manufacturing and spare parts available in the industry.
“I am proud to build up on the work the team and I have done over the last 30 years in bringing Australian Trailer Rentals into the Scully RSV Group, continuing our focus on quality manufacturing and now combined with an exceptional service and fleet offering,” he said.
Peter Dinicol, CEO, Australian Trailer Rentals, established the company in 1998. It has since become one of Australia’s leading suppliers of refrigerated trailer rentals, ranging from 14 pallet Bogie-axle trailers to full 34-pallet B-double combinations.
“Australian Trailer Rentals takes great pride in offering flexible rental trailer solutions alongside a comprehensive servicing program designed to protect our client goods. Joining Scully RSV in offering this solution to market whilst enabling our customers to access their full fleet range, brings the best of the supply chain offering through two great companies,” Dinicol said in a statement.
Scully RSV and Australian Trailer Rentals at present deliver short- and long-term refrigerated hire solutions to the refrigerated supply chain sector.
Scully RSV also offer new and used truck sales available for one to 12 tonnes and up to 14 pallet capacity.
Both companies have an extensive servicing division, in addition to asset finance options.
