Independent trailer specialist SX Trailers has entered into a partnership with Melbourne’s CIMC Vehicle Group, representing the company’s CIMC, Marshall Lethlean and General Transport Equipment (GTE) brands.
“SX Trailers exist to provide our customers best value transport equipment in terms of quality, reliability and price. SX Trailers believe that working together with CIMC will help us achieve these goals for our customers,” the company said in a statement.
“Together, SX Trailers and CIMC are focused on the continuous innovation of products through listening to our customers and acting on their feedback to constantly improve the quality and reliability of their equipment, which will add more value to our customers’ bottom lines.”
According to SX Trailers, the CIMC Group has sold more than 3,000 units in Australia since entering the market in 2005. Reportedly, the partnership will focus on NSW for now, with interstate growth options still to be reviewed.
Last month, SX Trailers parted ways with MaxiTRANS after 32 years of representing the company in New South Wales. In line with this, SX announced to shift its focus towards new business objectives, including the creation of a nation-wide trailer, parts and service offering.
What’s more, SX also announced the opening of its first branch outside NSW in Somerton, VIC.
