The Australian Trucking Association (ATA) will again auction a custom-painted Thermo King refrigeration unit in 2013. Prime Mover had a first look at the highly anticipated artwork.
The tender is set to open soon, as the ATA announced at its annual convention on Hamilton Island in June.
The 2013 contribution is based on the all-new Precedent model, which has been unveiled at the Brisbane Truck Show, and will celebrate Thermo King’s 75th company anniversary.
In addition to the custom-painted Precedent fridge unit, the ATA will also auction an SB-330 unit taken from the ATA Safety Trailer.
Both will be sold by tender, with the final bids taken later in the year. The funds raised through the tender will be used to continue the ATA’s work on behalf of industry.
