As part of the Bruce Rock Engineering (BRE) group, Transbeam Industries brings the same commitment to quality, innovation and practical engineering to everything it produces.
Specialising in metal processing and fabrication, Transbeam manufactures heavy-duty service pits built to meet the demands of industrial workshops and maintenance facilities across Australia.
Every service pit is constructed in-house at its workshop in Forrestfield, Western Australia, and arrives ready for action, complete with pre-installed recessed LED lighting, blasted and two-pack paint finish inside and out and a grit-impregnated floor coating for superior slip protection.
Ventilation isn’t an afterthought – optional external ducting and inline axial fans can be included to ensure a safe, comfortable work zone. Safety continues above ground too, with removable chain posts for fall protection and integrated jacking rails designed to handle a 20-tonne pit jack.
For operations wanting added flexibility and operator safety, Transbeam’s Variable Depth Mechanics Pits (VDMPs) take things up a notch. These pits feature a remote-controlled platform that travels from ground level to 1.8m depth in under 20 seconds – fully loaded with up to 500kg of tools and equipment.
With recessed, auto-switching LED lighting and built-in ventilation running the length of the pit, the VDMP offers a safer, smarter way to work under equipment.
Accessories such as mobile crossover pedestrian bridges, pit jacks and fluid drain pans can also be added to create a complete pit solution tailored to your setup.
“Proudly engineered and manufactured by Transbeam, these service pits are built for reliability, safety and long-term performance,” said Transbeam Industries General Manager, Andreas Aza.
“Whether you’re upgrading your workshop or starting from the ground up, you’ll benefit from a one-stop-shop approach, trusted workmanship and expert advice from a team with the industry know-how to deliver solutions engineered for performance and proven over time.”
