Darren Nolan of Nolan’s Interstate Transport passed away on 6 March 2025.
Nolan’s Interstate Transport said in a statement he was an integral part of the business and his legacy will remain.
“The contributions he made to our business are immeasurable and his presence will be missed by all who were privileged to work with him,” said Nolan’s.
“His knowledge and passion for compliance and workplace health and safety was second to none.
“Throughout his career, Darren served on several industry boards and was well known and respected throughout the transport industry.”
Darren Nolan will be farewelled on Saturday 15 March at 10am at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church (15 Maitland Street, Gatton). A celebration of his live will follow at Lockyer Valley Cultural Centre (34 Lake Apex Drive, Gatton).
Nolan’s Interstate Transport has operated since 1908.
It is based in the town of Gatton in Queensland’s Lockyer Valley and specialises in the transportation of fresh produce, general goods and temperature-sensitive freight.
