VTA event champions female representation in transport industry

The Victorian Transport Association (VTA) is now accepting registrations for the Annual Women’s Lunch, to be held on Friday 25 June at The Ivory in Elsternwick.

The Annual Women’s Lunch is a highlight of the VTA calendar, according to VTA CEO, Peter Anderson, because of what it represents and has the power to achieve.

“The VTA has taken a leadership role in working to increase the participation rate of women in the transport industry,” said Anderson.

“The Annual Women’s Lunch is a great opportunity for members to network with each other and discuss ways we can work together to attract and retain women to the industry.

“Previous years’ speakers have all shared compelling and universal stories of overcoming adversity to be successful in their chosen professions ad we are in the process of confirming this year’s line-up. I look forward to sharing this with you shortly.”

The event will be held at 37 Clarence Street, Elsternwick, on 25 June between 12.30pm-3.30pm.

“I hope you can join us for what is shaping up as another memorable and successful VTA Annual Women’s Lunch,” said VTA CEO, Peter Anderson.
