The annual Queensland Trucking Association Awards night was held recently with wide range of individuals and operators receiving honours.
Among the winners included Dwight Emerson of Simon National Carriers QTA who won the QTA’s Professional Driver of the Year award. Donald Seymour from Seymours Transport also received the QTA’s Industry Excellence Award.
Meanwhile, the QTA’s Excellence in Contribution Award winner went to Christopher Knight from Followmont Transport, Julie Russell from Russell Transport won the 2014 Trucking Woman of the Year Award and the winner of the 2014 Queensland Trucking Association Young Achiever Award was Nathan Wilson from Willow's Bitumen Haulage.
Two Driving Excellence Awards were presented on the night with Neil Kerkow from BP Australia’s Wondai depot and Steven Williams from Seymours taking home the honours, while the Industry Safety Award winner went to Toll Mining Services.
