Supermarket chain Woolworths has signed a new five-year contract with Linfox to continue its store distribution from the retailer’s Wyong distribution centre on the NSW Central Coast.
Matt Sheridan, National Manager Retail, said Linfox drivers transport products from the Wyong distribution centre to Woolworths’ supermarkets 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
“A team of 50 Linfox drivers delivers products from the Wyong distribution centre to 43 stores in Sydney, Newcastle and the Hunter Valley,” he said. “Our Wyong management team and drivers provide outstanding service for our customer. Ultimately, the success of our relationship lies with the team.”
Linfox drivers also supply Woolworths’ supermarkets from a distribution centre at Brisbane’s Larapinta.
